Cookie policy

We keep things simple: this site uses only strictly necessary cookies. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioural tracking. Below is a full account of what we set and how to manage it.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They allow the site to recognise your browser, remember preferences, and (in some cases) measure how the site is used. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, and web beacons — work in comparable ways and are treated equivalently in this policy.

What we use

A&J School uses only strictly necessary cookies on this public marketing site. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, behavioural tracking, social media pixels, or session-replay tools.

The cookies and similar storage we use:

  • Session cookies set by our hosting platform to maintain the integrity of a single browser session (security, anti-CSRF). Expires when you close the browser.
  • Privacy-preserving analytics (first-party, anonymous, aggregated). We measure pages viewed, country (not city), and referrer to understand traffic. No personal identifiers are collected; data is not shared with advertising platforms.

The school's separate learning platform (the parent and pupil portal) uses additional cookies necessary for authentication. Those cookies are described inside the platform itself and are governed by its own privacy notice.
